The Chronicles of the Aetherial

Grim bounty log #2: The life of grim

Grim harker, Bounty log # 2

Writing this report, I question if im still a bounty hunter or just another god damn merc looking for a paycheck with human lives. Its not like I do that with being a bounty hunter but at least I have the deceny to take them in alive.

Since my last little entry, life on the atherial has been a clusterfuck of murder, recruitment, getting the shit beat out of me on multiple occasions. And oh yeah, killing a bunch of “evil” people.

Starting where the last one left off, bruce decided the crew looked fun to be around and came on board, to celebreate we went to a nearby bar which my teacher spoke of highly. Low and behold he was there and gave me a wonderful reminder on why I repress all memories besides the training itself of our history.

A bar fight insued over some nonchalant bullshit, so bruce and his new drinking palls, (kage and some tentacle monster thing) and it escalates very quickly. I think of joining in, but the lizard man has other ideas and decides it would be nice to grab my leg and drag me to the floor as I jump into the fray….Ok..im done talking about that subject…brings up all the pain I felt

So at this point, we got a job and start hopping planets… and there’s no work for a bounty hunter….GOD DAMN BOUNTY HUNTER AUTHORITY!

Note #1: be sure to remind Sebastian that throwing my data pad at the wall doesn’t mean to order a new one.

So in the last leg of the trip…I arrive home on corellia…..and we need our ship fixed up for newer occupants…….

Note #2: never remind your parents you’re alive by arriving home with chocolate and beer and nice gifts, you just get beaten the shit out of for hiding out so long.

Long story short, the crew needs a place to stay and I call “Zordo” to arrange a house for us…its nice and it seems like life will get easier from now on.

Till a drug ring pops up and we decided to dive in for cash and glory…just like a god damn merc…

We succeed again, as for my health, it was once again nearly taken as more blaster bolts left more scars then I can count.
Note #3: at this rate, becoming a merc doesn’t seem so bad, ill ask the lizard for advice on how to put my name out there…Ill follow the code Zordo and kage gave me, but at this rate, why am I even called a bounty hunter.

And now I sit here, in my room, with a talking robot butler who was effectively a father figure to me which I now have to update him on the times, and my guns..
Life seems pretty much shit so far doesn’t it

End log

Note#4: possibly see therapist for possible episodes of depression and other mood swings

Ralla's Personal Log, Entry:2

You sneak into Ralla’s cabin within the Aetherial. You go looking about for the Datapad. (Search check Easy difficult). After a bit you find a trunk underneath her bed. You quickly deduce that it is a Spacer’s chest. (See wiki page for how to open).
Failure to open the chest: The Lock remains locked, and if any damage is made to the chest, it is noticeable. Ralla will be mad.

Success:
By Force: You managed to force your way through, destorying the lock and usability of the Spacer’s chest. Ralla will notice this and will be extremely mad. You look inside to find Ralla’s datapad, a few kits among other things.
By picking the lock: You subtly pick the lock, careful to not damage the lock’s mechanism, or have any indication of it being opened. Inside is two kits, Ralla’s Datapad and a few other personal items. You pick up the Datapad and turn it on.
The Home screen is set to ask for a password to login. (Medium Computer Programming check to bypass the password system.)

Failure to Login:
The Datapad’s screen reads as such:
Failed to log in. Cannot attempt a login for twelve hours. Any login attempts will automatically be ignored.
As the text disappears, a new line of text appears over a lock symbol on the screen:
“Confidential files contained within. To any who are reading this I will find out who. Best to go hide in your cabin. Or buy me some Icecream made with Bantha milk and I may let it slide. Sincerely, Ralla Nel."

Successful Login:
You click on the Journal application. Two categories are listed as such:
>Personal Journal
>Crew Medical Files.

You decide to open the personal log. There is currently only two entries within, you pick the most recent one:

Ralla’s log entry 2. After some quick buzzing about on a few planets we have made landing on Corellia. Famous star port, and major trade hub of the Galaxy. I have begin taking classes to better understand the more….alien of races in the galaxy as of now, it would be helpful so that I can understand the more exotic species of our crew.

So to highlight points of our brief time here.

Reika and I are attending classes. While I was installing the bioscan, she stopped by to show me her new pet cat. Waffles. Adorable little kitty cat. So we chat for some time, then went to go get supplies so Waffles will be comfortable on the ship. I change my opinion of her. She is a tough but good person. But there is always rough edges that must be hewed to see the gem beneath. A tad silly, but a good heart.

Other then that Grim got beat up again. Something about his teacher beating him up. Was about to get an explanation but Reika knocked him out. Probably tired of his mouth. Runs the gab quite a bit. So I have had people come to me with their broken toys, and done some fixing to various pieces of Tech, from Droids to a power armor. Quite a busy couple of days for me. Sigh. Need to take some time off to go and have some fun while on Corellia.

Crew Medical Log, Entry 6: Grim Harker

It has been some time since the crew has returned to Karlarba after performing the first delivery job. After four weeks of drydock, Ralla has asked each crew member to have a physical for every crew member. The results of each member’s medical history and information is within two halves of a program that is spliced, requiring both Ralla’s Datapad and Ralla’s Datadisk to fully access the information. Should the items be used then it will take a Heroic level check to bypass the security for each single file.

Medical Log, Entry 6: Harker, Grim
Galactic Standard Year: 25019, Month: 7, Day: 7

Physical Health report:
-——————————————————
Physical Status:
Head: Large scar running down the right eye, other then that, quite healthy. Small bruise on the cheek (That is mostly my fault. Bruce involved).
Arms/Hands: Large amount of scars, Blaster scars, some melee scars, well toned arms, moves with ease, slightly flexible. Overall a rough/rugged appearance.
Torso: Left Shoulder tattoo depicting what looks like a skull maybe? A scar has ruined most of it.There are various weapon scars all over the Torso. Smaller scars towards the hip, indicating a knife wounds perhaps? All the scars seem to have faded with time. Muscle structure is above average, rugged build, but enough to have some flexibility.
Legs and Feet: No scaring to note, toned muscles above your average person, agile and slightly more flexible than the average person.
Vitals: Healthy, no previous damage.

Personal Notes: This guy…… so lets keep this professional. Where to start. Well. Scars everywhere, indicator his work as bounty hunter is, as expected, led to a lot of fighting and injuries during his profession. Yet, a lot of these are very faded. Perhaps involved in Military action of some kind prior to his career as a bounty hunter? Who knows?! Perhaps maybe a cup of coffee and some time and maybe he will warm up.

Medical Log, Entry 5: Reika
Galactic Standard Year: 25019, Month: 7, Day: 7

Physical Health report:
-——————————————————
Physical Status:
Head: Almost exactly the same as a human except without eyes. This is odd due to the inclusion of Orbit cavity in the skull, and yet no eyes are there. When moving the light source back forth she was capable of following it. It is said that her race sees through force.
Arms/Hands: Various scars running over the arms, very faded so they have been there for some time. Other than that, they are healthy. Well toned.
Torso: Well toned, not quite as limber as other Near humans. Healthy, nothing to note.
Legs and Feet: Scars, not too fresh, very faded. Well toned.
Vitals: Healthy.

Personal Notes: Aside from what is to be expected with a Miraluka. She is well toned, and in shape. No doubt partly due Bruce’s Training. Need to inquire about the scars. Other than that she needs to keep the piece of cloth over her “eyes”.

Medical Log, Entry 4: Borfel
Galactic Standard Year: 25019, Month: 7, Day: 7

Physical Health report:
-——————————————————
Physical Status:
Head: No scarring, no tattoos, no damage. Quick eyes that dart, Reptilian shaped, covered in think scales. Many Pointed teeth in the mouth and jaw.
Arms/Hands:No scarring, no tattoos, no damage. Natural flexibility, and durable, expected for a predatory race. Very powerful claws/hands.
Torso: Blaster burns, appears to have been shot but no serious damage, very minor. Scales covered in a deep swamp green, thick layer of fat beneath the scale, perhaps a natural evolution to allow movement in lower degree temperatures. Resembles Trandoshans in a way.
Legs and Feet: No scarring, No Tattoos, Very powerful and limber.
Vitals: Checks out Healthy.

Personal Notes: Not much to say, really strong predatory senses, similar to a Trandoshan but still different.

Medical Log, Entry 3: Ripzara
Galactic Standard Year: 25019, Month: 7, Day: 7

Physical Health report:
-——————————————————
Physical Status:
Head:Heavily tattooed, interesting designs, cultural perhaps? No forms of damage to cranial structure or the Lekku. The Lekku extends above the average length for a common Twi’lek, a symbol of respect within their culture. Due to the sensitivity of Lekku I imagine he was unconscious when they tattooed it.
Arms/Hands: Nothing to report outside long nails. Twi’leks have their nails form like natural claws, most likely a survival aspect of genetic makeup. Toned above average, yet contains the limber and flexibility as expected from Twi’leks. No tattoos, no scars, healthy.
Torso: Above the average Twi’leks strength but not built like Body builders, Limber, has the flexibility that Twi’leks are known for. His color of skin indicates he comes from the Rutian tribe, most common tribe of Twi’leks seen within the galaxy. No tattoos, no scars, all healthy.
Legs and Feet: As above so below, above average toned muscles, the design of the legs are built for limber, and flexible movements. No tattooing, no scars, all within good health.
Vitals: Checks out healthy, like all Twi’leks multiple stomachs exist, and each one checks out healthy.

Personal Notes: Rip. Interesting specimen. Twi’leks are fascinating race indeed. Well storied, well cultured. He is perceptive, very perceptive. To be expected. Have above the average strength but his flexibility of his body, much like most Twi’leks, is well beyond that of some races in the galaxy. I will inquire about his tattoos later. See if they have cultural significance. His eyes show the mark of a deeper wisdom than he lets on. This is to be expected from someone who studied under a “Jedi”( Jedi is written in Mirialan, make a Languages check DC:20). Either way he is welcomed as member of the crew. Need some thinkers around on the ship. A second wiser opinion never hurts.

Bounty Log: Grim Harker

Life on the Aetherial seems good at best, our course has taken us to a more urban like planet, however it would seem bounties are taken by a short little guy that can take on those 100 times its size apparently.

Note to self: Don’t mess with his work, That or look into him and figure out how i can get ahead

only jobs available basic runaway jobs, bail runners for cheap credits sadly so i wont be upgrading my equipment anytime soon.

Went to go pick up Rakka? (Another note: remember how to spell her name in the logs) Found her talking with legendary shockboxer Bruce tesla, The day brightened up after that

Had to knock out our raptor friend, little bastard was playing with my cars horn in the middle of the night,

Reminder: get him some flowers or some kind of meat to snack on as apology

2nd Reminder: The day only brightened up for a short while

A week or so in we found a job, problem is with the newer occupants on board, our ship needs to be retrofitted with better life support, and the fact that the shipment is going to take a month to get here, I really needed to find a job

Little bounty hunter bagged another one, seems to get up bright and early to go hunting so this area is dry for bounties….Had to teach a class in gun saftey to make something out of this…

Note #2: Take anger management classes, shooting my gun at targets downrange only makes this worse apparently

Rakka? was attacked on ship, believe it to by a rogue cow tipper or the cow itself was to blame….Because she went out to go pet it for roughly 4 hours….Sometimes i miss the old days of work.

Time seemed to drag along as less and less work came my way and more and more time my trigger finger itched,

Note #3: Equipment inspection is a great way to relax

Note#4: Get a notebook to write notes to myself instead of in my log

Decided it would be best to go out and use my skills to….be an arbiter between the underground of this planet…..Had to inspect my equipment 3 times in a single day…This is just perfect

Good news on the horizon though, our local…blue guy…Cant remember his name for the life of me, seems to be pretty good at gambling, too good as the casinos are now looking out for him as he cleaned house.

Went to a Sniper competition, won it, the folks there seemed nice, sadly the event is only once in a while and its going to be a while till it happens again, ill be gone by then

And now the bad news, recents events seems to have stirred the group up a bit, The Tang seems to want to split off and make his own money, used his winnings to get himself a ship and wants me on aboard…I accepted

Note#5: Dont tell Kage….If he finds out on his own…..i don’t know

End log…..

Note#6: Really need to get some better skills at writing these logs, feels like i just wrote a god damn grocery list.

Medical Log, Entry 2: Sable
Galactic Standard Year: 25019, Month: 7, Day: 7

Physical Health report:
-——————————————————
Physical Status:
Head: No trauma spots, No Scars, the skull structured similar to that of an ape despite the appearance of a small Lepi. Eyes far larger than average species in the galaxy, Orbit cavity must be larger as well. Elongated ears like a Lepi, moves based on emotions. Ears have two piercings.
Arms/Hands: Hands are flexible and resemble those found on most Human and Near-human strains. Yet is tough and coordinated for quadruped movement. No noticeable damage. Arms
Torso: No damage. Body is designed for both Bipedal and Quadrupedal movement. The fur resonates through various colors to depict emotion, a very odd trait.
Legs and Feet: Feet are built more like an animal design, long nails, and with previous statement, capable of comfortable Quadruped and Biped movement. Strong enough to toss his frame from the ground a meter or two.
Vitals: Similar to that of a Lepi. Vital signs check out healthy.

Personal Notes: Harbors a curiosity, perhaps something that is natural of his kind. The oddity is the ability to shift the colors of his fur based on emotions. I would hazard a guess that this functioned as a natural camouflage. Very deft and subtle movement of the hands and paws.

Medical Log, Entry 1: Bruce Testa
Galactic Standard Year: 25019, Month: 7, Day: 7

Physical Health report:
-——————————————————
Physical Status:
Head: Slightly scarred due to prior history as a Shockboxer (And a tough customer as they come.)
Arms/hands: Various types of scarring. Some from a form of energy based weaponry, perhaps blasters?, Places where Shrapnel was most likely removed. Scars related to shock boxing.
Torso: Ripped. Sculpted. Many words for it. Muscles built surprisingly well, somewhat unnatural even for your usual Gamorrean. More scarring than the arms.
Legs and Feet: Right leg is cybernetic, ranging from what I can tell it goes up to the hip. Left leg has more scarring but nothing to indicate the loss of the right leg.
Vitals: Healthy, Stable, No prior damage

Personal Notes:
Bruce Testa…..quite the specimen. Physically in shape to a great physique for his race. The scarring indicates him doing a lot of other work since his early retirement from the shock boxing league. He is a habitual drinker, to the point I wonder if it even affects him. There is something odd about the muscle structure, it is above and beyond normal. The scanner could not pick anything up. I will need to invest in a Bio scan to confirm any suspicions.

Wott Journal Entry #2

Going into the taung’s room you seem him passed out on his bed in a bloody mess. His eyes were swollen and his breathing was slow as he seemed to have been in a fight recently his datapad laid unlocked this time as if he had been on it just before passing out.

Data entry #00000002

“My warrior pride got me in trouble again as I battled a Dazouri. It seemed harmless, but then once I scared it….It turned into this monster. We battled and I was able to do a bit of damage to it, but it got the better of me in the end. I was trying to get enough money to gather the rest of the parts that I need to repair my weapon. Then I need to find the crystal for it, but which crystal type should I use? A question for later I need to lie down.”
